Hailey Whitters shares song off ‘The Dream,’ touring w/ Tanya Tucker & more

January 27, 2020

Iowa-born, Nashville-based country singer Hailey Whitters is releasing her new album The Dream on February 28, and the newest single is “Janice at the Hotel Bar,” which was named after an 80-year old woman named Janice that Hailey met at a bar a few years ago and quickly befriended. The album also includes Chris Stapleton and Brent Cobb covers, along with ten originals, and it was made with help from Lori McKenna, Hillary Lindsey, Nicolle Galyon and Brandy Clark. She’s also touring, including dates with the legendary Tanya Tucker, dates with Jordan Davis, and a slot at Stagecoach. If any of those names appeal to you but you haven’t checked out Hailey Whitters yet — who I’d add would also appeal to fans of Kacey Musgraves, Margo Price, Jason Isbell, etc — you should change that by streaming “Janice at the Hotel Bar” below.

Her dates with Jordan Davis include a show at NYC’s Webster Hall on March 19 (tickets). All dates are listed below.
